Weigh In at Work

Heyyyy Everyone,

Who else has set themselves the challenge of losing their Christmas fat during the cold month of December? Half of our office are on huge diets and to support each other one of the girls has come up with the best idea that I just had to share with you.

We’ve created our own weigh in club, the best weigh in club out there!

Firstly payment. We are paying to be weighed each week, a grand total of £2. However, this money is not paying for the hire of a room or the person weighing you, this money is going into a savings pot, and at the end of the year you get given your savings pot back full of money!! Great way to save whilst losing weight. The good thing about this is you have control over your savings pot, so if you can’t afford it one week you can still get weighed and not put any money in, it’s your savings so it’s up to you!

Privacy. Instead of standing up in front of a room of people that you don’t know and announcing your weight, and potentially the fact that ‘this week Emma, you’ve not lost any weight and you’ve actually put on 2 pounds, everybody boo Emma’, we are doing it all in private. The lady doing our weigh in’s has a little black book to keep track, so whenever we get a moment in our day we go into a private room and she weighs us.  
Support Team. You only sit down with your fellow dieters once a week at other weigh in programmes but aiming to lose weight with work colleagues means you are surrounded by support 5 days a week! You can encourage each other to take the healthy option at lunch, or stop them mid-morning snacks, or even start bringing in a fruit bowl instead of a box of biscuits.


I am 100% sure that the work weigh in programme is going to help me reach my target weight by the end of February!
