Renew Refresh Revive

Heyyyy Everyone,

How many times have you looked at other people and wished that you have their positivity on life, or you have their motivation to achieve, or you have their courage to challenge yourself? I think it's human nature to think that way, but what we never do is look at how we can change ourselves to be these better versions of ourselves that we can inevitably be just with small changes. Sometimes you just need to sit back and look at yourself from an outsider's perspective to realise that it's not hard to make slight adjustments in life to become the person you dream of being, to achieve the goals you dream of achieving and to challenge yourself to be better than you'd even hoped to be.

It's become very clear to me over the last 6 months that I am very ready for some change, in so many aspects of my life. In fact I think I've been trying to commit to changing things for the last 2 years since I finished university but never fully committing. It's like the whole "I'll start my diet on Monday" but promising yourself the same thing every Sunday evening and never committing past Tuesday lunchtime. I'm at a crossroads in my life where I can take this same route of wanting to change but giving up shortly after, or I can diverge into another road where I commit to the change and start to feel better about myself. Seems like an obvious choice to me.

As usual, I am blabbing on. My point of this blog being that one huge aspect of making these changes is that I am going to use my blog as a resource to encourage and support myself through this journey by documenting it all for you guys. A HUGE change in my life is going to be moving back to the UK at the end of October, and although this is an upsetting thought for me as I am leaving behind some incredible friends and memories, it also means I am freeing up more time to concentrate on the 'New Me' and more importantly on my blog!!

So, as you may have already noticed I decided to celebrate the 'new me/new blog' with a revamp of the blog's design. I wanted it to be the perfect design for me to express myself on and, with the help of Peaches and Cream designs, I think it is absolutely perfect! I've also decided to launch this whole thing on the anniversary of the blog.

Yepp, that's right, if you didn't know, today is EmmaJessica ChatterBox's 3rd birthday!

So what better way to enter into my 4th year of blogging with a little face lift of the blog design and a promise to give you guys the best year of the content you will read yet!

With all this free time that I'm going to be investing into writing, I'm sure you are wondering what to expect from the NEW and IMPROVED EmmaJessica... Well just a few things jump to mind:

I want to become more confident with fashion and expand my wardrobe, which means some serious shopping trips and huge hauls.
I want to invest in a lot more quality 'me' time, which means doing the things I love the most. Baking and reading, and of course blogging about both.
I also want to, of course, continue my travelling, whether it be a night away in a small town in England or a month in Africa.

Basically all the good stuff, and of course I will continue to write my general chatty blogs about relationships, friendships and general life struggles!

I'm excited to commit to this change and I hope you guys are excited to come on this journey with me. Don't forget to check out the 'contact me' page at the top of the blog to make sure you're following me on all my social media channels. You do not want to be missing out on this life changing stuff!!

Have you been thinking about making any changes to your life recently? Let me know in the comments and let's all support each other through this time.

Ciao EmmaJessica <3
