30 before I'm 30

Heyyyy Everyone,

As I due to jet off to Australia tomorrow it has got me thinking about the things I have been able to tick off my bucket list already and what I intend on ticking off in the future. It's impossible to know exactly where your going to be and what your going to have done in even a years time but it's always nice to have a slight plan. That's why I decided to make myself a little bucket list, 30 things I want to do before I'm 30. They are not in any particular order and some are just silly little things but all of them are important to me.
1. Own my own house / flat / apartment (whatever it may be)

2. I don't know exactly what career it may be, but I hope to be happy in my career by 30

3. Participate in a tough mudder

4. And in a colour run

5. Trek the Inca trail to Machu Picchu

6. Learn how to play guitar

7. Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef (hopefully this one will happen in the next 6 months!)

8. Take my family on holiday (all expenses paid by me!)

9. Do my Christmas Shopping in New York!

10. Spend every New Years Eve in a different city around the world (starting with Sydney this Year!)

11. Party at Coachella

12. Knit myself a cardigan

13. Walk the Great Wall of China (hopefully with my mum, I know she wants to do this)

14. Swim with Dolphins

15. Get my nose pierced (I'm not sure if it will suit me so I may take it straight out but I just want to see)

16. Get a tattoo

17. Host Christmas day at my place (yes that does mean me cooking Christmas dinner!)

18. Give blood (something I have always feared but I just need to man up)

19. Go on a cruise (probably with my Nan, she deserves a holiday and loves a cruise)

20. Go to Dublin and drink a pint of Guinness

21. Party in Ibiza with my best friends

22. Drive a Jet Ski

23. Movie Marathon - watch all the Harry Potter films in one weekend

24. Plan a Hen weekend for one of my Best Friends

25. Have a proper girly sleepover with my sister (face masks, movies, PJs and midnight feasts)

26. Dye my hair a crazy colour (even if I only keep it that colour for a week or 2)

27. Learn how to Paddle-board

28. Successfully catch a wave whilst surfing

29. Make a 'fake' music video

30. Build my YouTube channel up and hit 1,000 subscribers
There's a lot to achieve there but always set your sights high. Now it's time to start ticking things off. Do you have a bucket list? Do you think I have missed anything off mine that I can't get to 30 without doing?

Yoshi

Heyyyy Everyone,

I wanted to introduce you to my absolute favourite handbag brand, because I don't think enough people know about them and their bags are to die for!

I was first introduced to YOSHI by a friend because a family member of hers works for them. She showed us a beautiful leather bag that I immediately wanted, and then when I found out it was from a local Lichfield brand I fell in love even more. If you are from Lichfield and you are reading this post it is compulsory that you go and buy yourself a Yoshi bag now because it actually says 'Lichfield' on them (cool huh!).

Not only do I 100% agree in supporting your local businesses I also think their bags are of a quality as strong as high-end brands like Prada and Gucci, without the ridiculous price tag! They have classic designs but also quirky styles if your looking for something a bit different. As they put it 'On one hand, it represents the traditional timeless values of quality, craft and workmanship; on the other it symbolises happiness, fun and the future.'

My Mum and I have got a slight obsession and it has led to our handbag collection growing a substantial amount. Here are just a few of our bags...

This is my newest and my absolute favourite! I think it is the perfect item for this autumn and it's still available HERE

I am so lucky to have the BEST friends that treated me to this black beauty! I love pairing with a simple black blazer to look very sophisticated. Unfortunately it is not available anymore but they have other toe bags HERE

I treated my mum to this beautiful bag for her birthday this summer. Although at first I thought it was the perfect summer bag, I now think it's perfect for all seasons, it looks great with a big fur coat, perfect fit for this autumn.

Is this not just the perfect little bag!

This bag has seen better days, I have used it pretty much every day for the last 6 months and it is perfect!

If you do one thing today, make sure you head over to their website and I am sure you will not be disappointed!

September 2015: Traces of Me

Heyyyy Everyone,

I'm basically being a really naughty blogger today. Not only should I have published this blog last Wednesday, I also should be reviewing a different book! Well I'm sorry, slap my hand and send me to my room, or you could just carry on reading.

I got sent this book to review and when I read this: 'a modern day Bridget Jones meets Fifty Shades rendition that is not for the faint hearted', I dropped the book I was currently reading and got stuck in. It took me approximately 3 days to finish this book, I was addicted, I even spent my lunch break with my nose stuck in it!

As always I don't want to give too much away but so you get an idea of what it is about here is my own written synopsis. April meets someone and her happiness encourages her to take a whole new perspective on life. She starts wearing make-up, gets new clothes and gains loads more confidence. But her new found love liked her just the way she was. She needs to decide what makes her happier, her new appearance or her new man.

There are a few 'Fifty Shades' scenes in this book, with in-depth detail into Aprils sex life which make this book not suitable for under 18s. I think this is a real shame because there isn't really a need for the sexual scenes, and this book teaches so many life lessons about relationships and love, and about finding yourself whilst finding the right man for you that all teenage girls should learn about. I am now 23 and I wish I had read this book when I was 16 because it would of taught me so much. I would also encourage my little sister to read this book when she is older but just wouldn't be happy with her reading the sex scenes because they are very rude and even made me blush!

What I LOVED about this book is that it didn't end how I thought it would, it wasn't your typical love story, I shall stop there, I don't want to give away the ending but it was a brilliant, and I am disappointed that the book was so short, I want to know more about Aprils life and what happens after the end of the book!

Two of my favourite quotes from the book are; 'You can't be happy with anyone unless you're free to be happy in yourself first', and 'when you hit rock bottom, thankfully there's only one way up'.

You can buy this book HERE

Next month I will be reviewing 'Absolute Truth, for Beginners' by Katarina West.
