Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Heyyyy Everyone,

I've got a question for my readers this week, I need your help on something.. Does distance really make the heart grow fonder?

I have always thought that it does, my best relationships have been when I don't even live in the same city as my other half. You treasure your time together more than you would if they are just two minutes down the road. You do more exciting things together to make the most of the time. And you are constantly on a countdown until the next time you are going to be in their arms....However, is there a limit to this? Can you go so long without seeing each other that it turns more into 'out of sight out of mind'?

Maybe everybody is different and it depends on the person? Maybe it depends how much love is involved? Or maybe, just maybe, it is all in our heads, and the outcome is what we make it?

You must be thinking, why you asking us? Basically, I am planning a trip away for 6 months to the other side of the world and my 'special someone' and I have different views on how well it will go. I am overly confident that time will fly, our hearts will grow the most fondest of fonder, and there is no reason why we can't get through it. I'm not saying it'll be easy and I can guarantee tearful phone conversations but I've seen people do it before for longer, but maybe it is easier for me because I am the one going on my jolly holidays. He is not so confident, he doesn't think he can go 6 months without a cuddle and he questions what would happen if something happened to one of us and we couldn't be there to support each other. So that's why I've come to my blog for help, we both need reassurance that it is possible or maybe even your advice on how to make it more bearable.. HELPPP??

Ciao EmmaJessica <3
