The Perfect Bath

Heyyyy Everyone,

Since mid January I have been living with my Nan. She had a foot operation and so needed someone to be around to make her drinks and meals and do the shopping, all that kind of thing, you get the idea. Anyway, the only downside to being here is she has no bath! I KNOW RIGHT! How can you possibly live without a bath. Well my Nan's excuse is she struggles to get in and out of a bath and so has stuck with a shower for the past few years (I hope that never happens to me, even if I have to have a special lift to get me in and out I always want to be able to bath).

I have majorly missed having a bath. When I am at home I have at least 2 baths a week but if I get the chance to have one every night I will! I just find it so relaxing. I have been sat at my nans at night thinking about having the perfect bath. My perfect bath involves;

1. Candles - Theres something about candle light that makes it extra relaxing.

2. TV or a book - It depends what mood I'm in, sometimes I'll read for an hour (if I'm into a good book), or sometimes I put my laptop on the toilet next to the bath and watch some netflix or YouTube videos!

3. Bubbles - If your like me and the look of your 'wobbly' bits immediately makes you feel crap, you need to make sure there are enough bubbles to cover you up. A few bath products I have looked recently are Neal Yard's Aromatic Foaming Bath, Rituals Energy Bubbles & Body Shop Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt (not as many bubbles from this one but it smells delicious).

I could add loads of stuff but these are my 3 basics. Don't get me wrong I love bath bombs, and I could make a long list of all the products that I like to use in the bath, but when it ones down to it candles, entertainment and bubbles make the perfect bath for me! I can't wait to go home and just relax in the bath! What makes your bath perfect?

Bloggers Block

Heyyyy Everyone,

Bloggers block, writers block, whatever you want to call it, I'm stuck. Normally I walk through daily life and things jump out at me as blog ideas. I can practically write a blog in my head before I've even got my laptop out. I don't tend to sit down and write a blog and publish it that night. I will normally keep going back and changing it or adding things as I think of them. And I will only publish the blog once I am not just happy with it, but proud of my writing. I have written, and deleted, and re-written, and deleted again, and came to the conclusion that this week I just can't publish anything because I have not been proud of it.

We're all human and at the end of the day I can admit to you that I think my lack of inspiration is because there is not a lot going on in my life at the moment... HOWEVER, there are plenty of plans down the line that I know will inspire me and help me with blog posts. So I hugely apologise for not entertaining you this week, but I can promise you I will be back (mwhahaha) and I will bring with me baking, travelling, so many book reviews and of course my general chit chat (I can sense your excitement!)
