April 2014: Gone Girl

Heyyyy Everyone,

WOW. If you haven't read this book yet, what are you even doing with your life? Go out and buy this book now! I loved it, I wanted to get to the end to see what happened but then I didn't at the same time because I didn't want it to end!

Like it says on the cover 'there are two sides to every story', and this book is set from two sides of a murder story. It is a thriller but the thing I liked about it was it wasn't scary. I read in bed and, although I love reading horrors/thrillers, I have to save them for holidays because otherwise I won't be able to sleep ha

Next month I will be reading 'The Husbands Secret' by Liane Moriarty. Got any suggestions for me for June?

British Seaside

Heyyyy Everyone,

How has everyones Easter weekend been? I've spent the weekend having a lot of quality family time and that involved a trip to the Seaside on Friday.

The group consisted of me, my mum, my stepdad, my grandma and my stepdads dad and we went to Morecambe. Morecambe has a special place in our hearts because it is where my mum and stepdad got married. We picked the perfect day because the sun came out for us and the beach was full of families having fun. Here are a few pictures from the day...

We of course had fish and chips (thats mandatory on a seaside visit)

My nan got to dip her toes in the sea and my mum and I felt the sand beneath our feet

How cute are these horses having a splash in the sea

This is the Midland Hotel which is where my mum and stepdad got married. I love this picture I took with the beautiful blue sky. We popped in for an afternoon cup of tea.

Another Seaside mandatory- Ice Cream!!!

This statue is of Eric Morecambe, and you cannot go to Morecambe without creating this picture.

It makes me sad that people don't go to the British seaside as much as in the past. Just look how beautiful it is! I know people want the sun and that's why they jet off to other countries. We were lucky with some sun last friday but even if it wasn't sunny it would of been a good day. Put your waterproof and wellies into the car and go treat yourself to some real seaside fish and chips. It's a great day out!

Whilst we were there I also took some pictures of my recent Boohoo Haul which will be coming soon!

Have you been to the seaside recently? Tell me about it in the comments.

Edinburgh Trip

Heyyyy Everyone,

A few weeks ago I went to visit one my best friends, Naomi, in Edinburgh. Our friendship started when we met in an airport about to board a flight to Fiji to do volunteer work, and we hit it off straight away! You know when you meet one of them life long friends.. she is one of them and I am very lucky to have her in my life.

Okay soppy s**t over, I thought I would share a couple of photos from the weekend!

Whilst I was there it was Naomi's mums birthday and she was kind enough to let me join in the celebrations. I love this picture of me and Naomi before we went out for dinner :-)

Me and Naomi on the left, and me and Naomi's Boyfriend on the right. It was lovely to meet him and make sure he was good enough for my friend (he defo is by the way, he's a good'en).

The day after the celebrations (which involved consuming a lot of alcohol) I dragged Naomi up Arthurs Seat because I really wanted to see the views. I didn't realise it wasn't the best thing to do on a hangover... but needless to say we made it and got some great pics. The picture below is me at the bottom, the tip on the left hand side mountain is where we climbed!!

Nearly there!!

Look how steep the last bit was!!

But that view is so worth it :-)

There seemed to be some photoshoot going on with a guy a kilt and Naomi was very cheeky taking lots of photos of him (tehe)

I love this cheeky picture of N! Here she is hugging the highest point of the mountain ha

We of rewarded ourselves afterwards to some delicious cupcake. Banana and Toffee on the left and Chocolate fudge on the right, we shared them so we got a little taste of both, they were genuinely scrumptious!

That's just a few photos from the weekend. We did loads more fun things like went to the Castle, went on a very scary Ghost walk and obviously did lots of catching up! I wish I could visit her every weekend :-)

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few pictures from my trip. Have you ever been to Edinburgh?
